Summary: Refinishing of residential exterior wood deck
History: To properly prepare and refinish approximately 1,000 SF of existing wood deck, steps and railing.
Requirements:
A. Apply a Deck Wash to remove dirt, mold and mildew that had accumulated over a period of years.
B. Power wash clean the existing railings, deck and steps.
C. Sand railings, steps and deck with a palm sander.
D. Apply one covering coat of Exterior Semi-Transparent Deck Stain.
Solution: Instead of removing the furniture from the deck, we were able to finish one area, then move the furniture over and complete the reaming portion of the project.
