- Summary: Interior demolition and repairs to walls to re-mediate mold in South Hills Masonic Hall.
- History: As a result of long term Roof leaks, the lobby and vestibule walls were damaged by moister, mold and mildew.
- Requirements:
A. Remove all damaged wood studs, drywall, insulation and ceiling tiles due to the water damage from roof leaks.
B. Prime all areas of water damage with “Stain Killer” to seal the affected areas from developing mold.
C. Replace removed insulation and drywall back to its original condition.
D. Tape, finish and paint the drywall to match its original condition.
E. Replace ceiling tile. - Solution: The challenge on this project was protecting from damage the existing walls, ceiling and carpet during the remediation. All areas not to be disturbed were completely protected.
